‘Hey, we’re back,’ Hilbert declared.
‘Hey. How was things?’ Red turns to Hilbert and Hilda.
‘It worked out fine, thankfully,’ Hilda said. She then looks at Rosa and Ethan who seems a bit too concentrated on the map of Unova.
‘They’re trying to pinpoint the possibilities of where Charon might be,’ Lucas walks past Hilbert’s left and looks at the map himself.
‘Where are the others?’ Hilbert turns his attention towards Red.
‘Some of them are in the gym leaders room, joining Looker, explaining the current situation while some are having lunch in Driftveil,’ Red answers.
‘What?’ Hilda and Hilbert said simultaneously.
‘It turns out that some businesses are still open despite the crisis at hand,’ Lucas clarifies the situation.
‘Oh. In that case, I’ll join them in the meeting room,

I knew I shouldn't even think about you anymore. After finally taking my place as Champion, I shouldn't think of anyone who isn't in the Elite Four unless they are a worthy Challenger, which I never thought of you as. So when I left the League for the holidays, you should have never been on my mind at all. So why couldn't I think of anything but you?
This is what was on my mind as I was waiting in Sandgem, none other then your hometown, for Barry, my childhood friend. Although in reality I was waiting for him, it felt as though I was waiting for you to appear, and I shunned myself for dreaming of you whisking me away before Barry arrived. It was terrible of me, but I still hoped with all my heart and soul.
There I sat, twiddling my thumbs, when your sister appeared. It would appear that she had aged a bit in the past two years, which I supposed made sense. Her black hair, instead of being styled in two cute ponytails, was out, gracefully touching her shoulders as she stopped to star

"And we conclude this exciting episode of 'Johto Journeys!' Over and out! Bye!" the reporter on the T.V. screen chirped with a wink as the credits started to roll. Barry, my childhood friend,'s eyes gleamed with excitement.
"Hey, hey, Lucas! Now that I think about it, we have a lake nearby, don't we?" he exclaimed, his blond bangs bouncing.
"Yes....?" I replied uncertainly.
"Why don't we explore it?" Barry bounced back.
"I don't.... I don't know, Barry. No one- and I mean no one- explores Lake Verity. I mean, haven't you heard the legends? Barry, it just isn't safe. Why don't we... I don't know, watch a movie or something? Something, you know... Secure?" I stuttered.
"But think about it Lucas! Just think! I'm sure that the legendary pokemon that the legends talk about is just a Red Gyrados! It just needs to be stopped before it goes on a rampag

I blinked the sleep out of my eyes as I turned over in bed. Sunshine creaked through the wide window on the wall. Shaking my head sleepily, I forced myself to sit up. I looked at my surroundings, as I hadn't had much energy to last night. I hadn't noticed how tired I was until I saw Dawn's family's spare bed, and then I wanted to collapse. Not to mention I still hadn't met her family, as her little sister and grandfather had been the only ones home, and they were already in bed when we arrived. I wonder how her parents would react when they found Barry sleeping on their spare bedroom floor. And me in their kitchen, helping Dawn with breakfast. Or maybe she brings teenage guys home all the time. That could be possible too.
There actually happened to be two beds in the spare room, but of course, to escape Princess's wrath, Barry slept on the floor. Speaking of Princess, she had decided that she would stand guard during the night, in case Barry got the sneaky idea to crawl into the bed wh

I glanced up at the cloudy sky. It looked like it was waiting for me to knock so it could dump buckets on Sandgem. I looked at the door of Dawn's house nervously. Taking in a breath, I lifted my hand to knock, when suddenly...
"Lucas! You came!" Sunny cried cheerfully, almost knocking me over with the door. She smiled happily, and I had no choice but to smile back.
"Yep. I'm here. So... Where's your mom?"
She looked down, her face forlorn. "I was hoping you would play with me," she murmured sadly. I flashed a sad grin at her.
"Well, I would Sunny, but..." I started, but Princess held her fin out. She then pointed to herself. I understood. "But I'm sort of busy today. So Princess will play with you instead!" Sunny's head shot up, her eyes sparkling.
"Thank you, Lucas!" she exclaimed, pulling me into a hug. I patted her head awkwardly. Princess let out an annoyed chirp,
